Tater Tot Casserole

//* I've been going through and cleaning up posts and I found this oldie but goodie that was never shared!*//

This recipe is totally a comfort food. It is delicious in the winter on a chilly day or on a very hot humid day. It works. Plus it's easy to throw together. However, there is a 55 minute bake time. So plan it out accordingly.

The recipe comes from my favorite blog, Life in the Lofthouse, another delicious recipe from Holly: Tater Tot casserole.

I highly recommend this when you're looking for something to fill your tummy!

  • 1 lbs. ground turkey
  • 1 large pkg. of tater tots
  • 1 can of cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can of cream of chicken
  • 1 can of evaporated milk
  • 1 - 2 cups of cheese
Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a 9x13 pan with cooking spray.
Crumble and brown the turkey in a large skillet. Place the cooked ground turkey into the dish.

In a medium bowl, mix the cans of cream of mushroom, cream of chicken and evaporated milk. Stir til combined.

Add the tater tots to the top of the ground turkey. Add the cream mix on the top of the tater tots. Once oven is preheated, bake for an entire 55 minutes. If you are using cheese, add cheese after 45 minutes of bake timeand then put back in for another 15 minutes or until cheese is melted.
